Got another one on my own for way less than the board they sold me. Furnace working great." P . E from Middleville, MI on November 11th, 2022

616-891-4328"Indoor Climate was recommended to me so I hired them to install a natural gas line in my basement and connect a new dryer. The first time I called them to schedule, I had to leave a voice mail. I never got a return call so two days later I called back. The serviceman came out at the right time but said he didn’t have the right parts on the truck and would call back to reschedule. This seemed odd since it was a straight forward job and he knew in advance what the project was. Three days later and still no call, so I called them. They said they would try to fit us in that day. So far I wasn’t blown away with ICS’s customer service but I was just happy to get the job done. A different Tech showed up and did the job. The quality of the gas line work itself was ok, but the connection to the dryer was left hand tight and no Teflon tape or other sealant was used. The resulting small gas leak filled my house with the pungent odor of natural gas and gave us all headaches, to say nothing of the safety aspect. I called ICS twice 12 hours apart and left voice mails. No one ever called back, so I eventually called another HVAC company who came out with a sniffer, found the leak, and repaired it. This cost me $179 above what I am paying Indoor Climate. I’m trying to be fair here but I admit that it pains me to pay Indoor Climate’s bill for this level of service. I won’t be using them again. 616-891-4328"On the first day of work that was scheduled to be done, we were told that the work should be done between 9:00 and finished around 1:00. The first person arrived around 9:30 and didn't leave until a little after 4:00. We had to leave at 3:00 to help with a birthday party for my son, and a few others, and we were unable to get out of our driveway until everything was picked up after 4:00. There was a missing part that had to be ordered and we were told it would most likely be in the next week but it took an extra week. Insulation was taken down in the process and not put back up. There was also a gouge in the carpet padding at the top of our stairs, probably from one of the heavy pieces of equiptment (not sure if it was when something was taken out or being put in). However, the furnace, water heater, and air conditioner look and work great, but it would have been nice if the holes created in the wall were sealed after they were done working." J . 616-891-4328"Installers were excellent. But when I got the bill seemed like bait and switch.
The installer came over and found a bad board and said he could be back the next day which I agreed with.
I got a call saying the board and installation would be $265. I called and set up the appointment but when fixed I was told it was $324 (which included a $20 discount coupon). When asked why it was now $324 I was told about a $79 service cal fee..
Why wasn't I told a total price instead of $265 which I thought was the total. Would I be paying all of this if the installer had the part on the truck and put it in the same day?

616-891-4328"Installed two new HCAC units on our rooftop only to find out they had installed the wrong units. They came out the next day and removed them and installed the correct ones but had to come back a 3rd to finish the install. They also did not have the correct thermostats at first and so had to come back and install the correct ones. We were just lucky the weather was not to cold or hot so it ended not being a big hassle." D . M from Hudsonville , MI on October 12th, 2015
